Toes and Toe Nails

Hi,

Well, When I got Mimi she was missing 2 toenails.
In less than a week she lost another.
2 weeks later she lost a whole toe.
I figured it was because of improper care from the breeder
because she had a few other problems when I got her.
Her lighting is perfect, I have been dusting everything with calcium.
And we hadn't had a problem since.
It has been a few weeks and now
one of her toenails looks like it going to fall off.
It is sort of pulled up, but still attached.
I am always really careful when picking her up or taking her off me.
She is also near the end of her shed, she just has to shed her tail.
Also, all the missing nails and the toe are only on her back feet.

Anyone have any idea what might be going on?

It sounds like a calcium deficiency. Your doing the right thing giving her lots of calcium right now.

The claws that have fallen off should grow back in time, unfortunately the toe itself won't.

Keep giving her the calcium!

Is there anything in her cage she can hook her claws on? Loose wood, mesh, sharper rocks? If so you need to remove them.

Poor Mimi! How is she doing now? any better? Im sorry i have no experience with this, but have read about it. The three times i read about toes/toenails falling off were from getting stuck in something (repticarpet?/towel?), a calcium deficiency, or retained shed on the feet.
