To many Pheonix worms? (graphic)

So we rescued a beardie with mbd. Yes we have all the required lights, heat, calcium, D3 and such. I just got our order of Pheonix worms and was working with her today, feeding the worms. I kept at it until she decided no more; after about 5 minutes, and maybe 8 worms. They are quite small and I figured 8 was ok. About an hour later she pooped and I would say half of the Pheonix worms were still alive! Oh yeah, crawling and all. It was really nasty. My question is...is that normal if you feed them to many? She has had no problem with wax worms, and crickets, wont touch greens though. So is it possible that she just had to many and they didn't digest?

i think this is about the 8th time i have heard that a beardie has pooped out live phoenix worms. i have no idea why this happens..i'd bet it's not good, but maybe someone else has more info than me.

It does happen quite often lately.. What are basking temps? How do you measure them? Did he/she eat the worms one at a time, or did she gobble them up really fast?

It happened a couple of times with my dragons. When I asked the vet about it, he told me they probably just ate too much too quick and then didn't digest properly. The solution was to feed less at a time. He told me to feed about 5 worms and then give it a few minutes and then offer some more if necessary.

Since she has mbd I have her in a 20 gallon as it is hard for her to move about to hunt for food. I have her basking temps at 105-110, low end comes in at about 84. I have a temp gun I purchased from proexotics (best 25 bucks I have spent!). She has been eating like a champ since we rescued her, and I thought the pheonix worms would help with the calcium. I did feed them to her pretty quick and I know she did not chew them just swallowed. It was so nasty though to see them crawling around! I will feed slower next time. I feel so sorry for this little girl. She is in pretty bad shape, but loves attention. When we come into the room she hobbles to the front of the cage and watches us. Thanks for the advice. : )

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
