Tired of Dubias?

My bearded dragon is about 6 months old now. He has never had a problem with eating anything I give him except for wax worms, he wont touch them. He loved Dubia roaches as a staple insect but now he wont really eat them at all... Not even when I offer them from my hand...It seems so sudden.

Is this a common thing or am I missing something??

Yeah they go through phases like that. My guy is off of them at the moment too. Try offering something else for a while. Try some silk worms those are a healthy option and Darwin goes nuts for them. Then try again with the dubias later. They just go through picky phases now and then.

Seriously more picky than my three year old nephew!! Mine goes on and off stuff randomly and looks at me like "good luck blowing money and trying to guess what I'll eat now"

Keep a couple (or a few) different species of roaches. When mine get tired of Dubia I toss them orange heads...or vise-versa.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
