I tried researching this, but with no luck. I found today, that Taz has two tiny black.. marks? spots? on his scales on his rear leg in the back. I'll try to get a pic tomorrow... I noticed it when putting him to bed tonight and couldn't get a good pic. Nothing like trying to take a good detailed pic with a sleepy lizard... :S
Anyhow... one is larger and more unformed than the other, almost looks sooty? It didn't come off in his bath at all, I even brushed it with his soft bristled bath toothbrush. No luck. He's being treated with panacur for pinworms, first does was a few days ago. His cage is clean, he's been kept clean, etc... he can't get close enough to anything that could burn him, he is on cricket strike, so I know no crickets bit him. I have no idea what it could be. Is there a ailment-by-picture section anywhere, or...? Something like a compiled list of scale issues/diseases? He's gone to the vet earlier this week for the parasites, and the spots weren't there then. Since then I also had to take a cat to the vet, and will have to take my dog as soon as I get paid, and really would like to try and avoid ANOTHER vet visit... he's acting alittle lethargic, but go figure, with parasites and medicine that upsets his tummy.
Any ideas on what black spots could mean :S It's not stress marks, I do know that...
Again, I'll try and get a pic of it tomorrow! Just trying to get some ideas flowing and info on a possible page for skin issues... couldn't find one on here when I looked just now, but I might have missed it...
Thanks!

It could be a shed that never properly came off on that particular scale.
When you can, post a clear pic so we'd be able to better determine whether it's something serious or not.

Like was mentioned, it could be a spec of scale that didn't shed, it could also be a " freckle " type spot, which would be harmless. I've seen beardies with them before, but a pic will be helpful. Try not to worry !

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
