Good Afternoon,
New to my Beardie, but learning a lot. Looking to tile my tank. Looks like I'm going with slate. Seems easy and the most useful with reference to the Dragon. My question is this, do I seal the tile? I am thinking yes, but not sure. Also, it is glass bottomed, so how would i do the sealing? Directly on the glass or something in between. I cant seem to find anything, so if anyone knows of any articles or vids, it would be appreciated.
Thanks all!

I haven't sealed my tile but some folks have. I like to leave mine loose so I can pull them out (2 large tiles) for cleaning and disinfecting in the oven. I have 3 sets so I just swap in a clean set while the dirty one is being cleaned.

I wouldn't recommend sealing it, as it's easier to just take individual dirty tiles out to clean. I just put newspaper underneath mine.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
