Tile question.

So i'm in the process of switching from sand to tile.
Now my girlfriend has her heart set on a certain tile and has even done all the measurements to make them fit perfectly, but my only concern is that they are very smooth and they would get next to no grip on them.

Now my question to you is, Would spraying it with a light coat of watered down PVA and sprinkling some sand on it be okay? or should i just break her little heart and go with a different tile ?

I'd go with a different tile. I made the mistake of buying tile that I thought would be textured enough, got it cut, etc and my beardie got sores on his hind legs from sliding on the tile!
