Hi, I have a bearded dragon, who is about 7 months old now, and I've always followed the how many crickets he can eat in 15 minutes rule, well last night, he ate probably close to 80, 5/8" Crickets (His first time eating the size, he was eating 1/2" last time.) Either way he ate them all up, and this morning before work I dumped in about 40 and made sure he ate most of them before I left for the day. That was at 10:30, not its 6pm and I just come home to find dead, (thrown up? ) crickets everywhere, all over the furnishings, the sides of the tank, the top of the tank. I don't know how he managed this, its really bazaar and stinks to no end. I know I've had a bit of a problem keeping the tank at a steady temperature but its at 90*F right now. But why would he throw all of these crickets up? Whats wrong? I'm a bit concerned.
He has a UV light, the Reptisun 10.0 (I think its that one, which ever the one that most people here recommend, I know I need to get another one soon.) a right heat light (I'm saving $$ for a new bulb the proper one died on me again.) and has salads nearly all the time and eats them up within 6 hours. Um, hes also in a 40 Gallon breeder. I think I covered all of that.
