Throwing up?

So I just got a couple rescue dragons, they're 18months old...one of them is in worse condition than the other one. The one that's in better condition was eating 2 dubias a day. Today, the 4th day I've had them, he threw up yesterdays dubias along with the 1 superworm he had today.

His brother is currently only eating baby food as he can not and will not eat solid food yet. I figured because this one is a bit better off, solid food was okay, however, the vomiting is worrying me. Should I put him on baby food as well or just smaller portions of dubias? Or even mostly baby food with 1 dubia a day?

Hi there, sorry to hear about the poor beardies. Probably best to keep them both on soft food + good hydration first. Do you own other beardies ? Can you list the type + brand lights you're using and what the temperatures are throughout the tank ? They need a basking temp. of about 100-105 to digest food properly and a cooler temp. , about 80 , at the other end. Can you post pics of them showing their body condition as well as pics of their set up ?

I can see about pictures I have, I do own my own bearded dragon. They're currently in a enclosure I built myself, the basking temp is 106F atm, with the cooler side being at around 78-80F. The size of enclosure for each dragon is 40Lx20Wx18H. Housed alone obviously.

He looks like a juvenile, not TOO skinny, but over all pretty small. Offer just a few very small or fresh shed bugs, but offer the baby food as well. Be sure hes basking and offer water mixed with baby food and/or dripped on his snout to get him hydrated. If he vomits again you might want to see an experienced reptile vet. Hopefully it's just stress related.

He's actually 18 months old. The old owners had him in a 10gallon tank his whole life. He does love basking. I feed his brother the same way so no problem there! Thanks for the input :)

Yes I saw that you mentioned his age and it's amazing that he looks like a 4-5 month old juvie. Hopefully he'll settle in O.K and get a chance at a healthy life. :)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
