I've seen a couple threads about the fatty pouches under their beards, but I wanted to double check that Rath's looks normal. Aside from that, he is starting to shed again but there's an odd spot on the pouch where it looks to be in shed, but I'm not sure why it would be limited to that little area. I'm also a little worried he could be getting too chubby. The pouch is pretty saggy and really soft, and he has little fat pockets under his arms. (His beard isn't usually so dark, I bugged him for pictures right after waking him up for breakfast.)
I'm using a bright white heat lamp and currently a Zilla T8 bulb, only because my work was out of the Reptisun 10.0, but I'll be exchanging it for that one as soon as we get one, which will be today or tomorrow.
I give him daily collard greens (he's still not a huge fan) and treats of squash and bellpepper. He also eats waxworms, crickets, occasional dubias when I can afford to order them, and very, very rarely a couple superworms (I worry about their shells and digestion). I use calcium dust once a week and he gets a weekly bath. (don't mind the calcium dust he got on his beard) He is about 13 inches and will be 7 months old on Valentine's.
