Thoughts on this mini dehumidifier?

Hey all,

Just doing a little hunting around on dehumidifiers around on the internet and came across this.

Just wondering what everyone thinks of something like this being placed in the enclosure.

Hey Ruselbro,
Was just considering someone to lower the humidity in the enclosure which is cheap and effective. Just wondering if anyone has ever used something like this. My humidity is constantly hovering around 35-45% and would like it to be a touch lower.

Ok, I was wonder if your Humidity was to High. What are you using to Measure the Humidity?
And it's seem's like as Long as the Bag and the stuff inside of it is Non toxic it would be Ok, just don't let the Beardie sit on it, well put it some where so the Beardie just can't touch it. lol. Only thing I would worry about is the Possibility of the Bag Molding and the Moist Bag being a Breeding Ground for Bacteria and other thing's.

I use a weather station to test the humidity. Yeah I was going to hang it so he cant touch it. Just trying new things .

This might be worth a try, just so long as your dragon cannot reach it. I wonder if it would drip when saturated. But you could change it out more often. I tried something using silica about 30 years ago. It was a plastic cup with a lid, and I had it under the bed. I spilled it when removing it, and the water was somewhat greasy, and had a faint cedar-like smell. I would imagine that technology has improved since. :wink:
Edit: Upon re-reading, it says that it does not leak.

Yeah it appears that it does not leak. When it is full there is a icon that tells you, then you put it in the microwave for 5min or something and re-use it.
