this scares me >.<

so shiva is shedding her beard and the top of her head....and all morning she has been trying to puff up and....she expels air forcefully....like coughing :|

she makes it sound like there is something wrong with her....it only started today...and she is going crazy rubbing her face...poor baby.....and poor me as i cringe everytime she makes that sound.
she did this last time she shed her beard...and i took her to the vet thinking she had an upper rep infection...but he said she was fine

Don't you just feel for the poor babies when they are shedding. Ozzie gets so depressed. he shed his head and beard about 10 days ago and he does a very similar thing to what you are describing. I found bathing him twice a day and using an old toothbrush to give him a good scratching cheerd him up a bit, and he finished his head shed in a couple of days this way too. He's had 10 days off and now his tail has gone that tell-tale pale colour and he's looking all fed up again as if to say "Oh no, not again!" Poor baby
