This is why you don't house beardies together.. Even adults!

My husband said "why won't they help? she could hurt herself carrying it upstairs" I agree but I'm also glad her toes are doing better. I was going to tell you that I found some off-brand of betadine at my local Walmart for a reasonable price and I purchased it for our girls "just in case" and also because my husband was having a problem with his hand bleeding a lot every couple of months. We put some of that on that area of his hand and he hasn't had any problems with it since.

Beardie parents, I wonder the same thing.

Really, to do it "right," I need at least 4 of the lazy bone men of the house to help, since splitting the girls up entails rearranging the entire room they're kept in. It's tough getting 2 in gear at the same time, let alone 4... lol. Anyway, getting everyone to help out today should be easy enough. I'll post again later to let everyone know how the move goes. (I think the hardest part will be getting the 3 teenagers to get off the couch...)

Got everything moved, and the girls separated! I actually figured out a more effective way to arrange things, where I only needed 2 peoples' help... Which is good, since getting the teenagers going was impossible...

So, here it is.. Blossom got the big cage in part because she's more active, and Buttercup stayed in the tank, in part because it's easier to keep sterile. :)

It's great to hear that she's doing fine. :)
Good job separating those to gladiator ladies. :D

Thanks, guys! I'm proud of how it turned out. The girls seem to be doing well on their own. If I didn't know any better, I'd think I'd missexed Blossom... She keeps head-bobbing at me and flaring her little beard. Her little superiority complex is kind of cute. :) (Unless that's stress from the new enclosure and being alone.. I hope not!)

A little update, since it's been a little over a week since they split, and almost 2 weeks since the bite.

Buttercup's injury is healing up nicely, with both wounds closing up well and the blood build-up in the nails almost completely dissipating.

Both girls have taken very well to being alone. After the initial few days, Blossom calmed down. She still gives me the occasional push-up, but she's eating well and behaving normally. Buttercup hasn't shown any stress in relation to being separated from Blossom, and has even started eating and, in turn, pooping better. I guess Blossom was bullying her more than I thought... :?

Now, if I could just find a way to make Man Ray more content in his 40B, we'd be set!!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
