Is there something in the tank like a heat rock, etc that could have burned or damaged the
scales on the foot? What type of substrate do you have for him in the tank?
You could get some raw, unpasteurized honey to put on the foot to help with healing. Just
be sure there aren't any insects in his tank to bite him since they would be attracted to the
honey.
