And there you have it!! I got home from work, decided to soak in the bath, and when I came out, he was sitting here, with a nice big dump right underneath him, nose touching the glass, watching, waiting.

Yes they are!!
Tonight I woke up to get ready for work, and what did I see??? SP on his hammock for the firdt time without me putting him there!! Of course I didn't have my phone to snap a picture, but hopefully now he'll use it more often. I figured hes not using it because it's not under his lights. I think he was on it so he could see what was going on in the living room. I'll have to ask my kid later, if she was playing the Wii. Before, I used to have the back, and sides of his tank covered, but I had noticed he was doing everything he could to see out of the one side, without actually getting off his basking spot. He was practically hanging his front end off the tip of the log. So I uncovered half of the one side that faces the living room. And he seems to like that. He can lay anyway on his log and see what's going on.
One of these days ill finish putting his tank together. But for now he has everything he needs.

Aww! He is so adorable! I am crazy about my little guy, too! :) Before I had a beardie, I would never have guessed how much personality they can have! Money can buy happiness... sometimes!

So very cute. they like to be sneaky I think and they love stuffies. I would take the tags off your bunny so he doesn't try to eat it like Geico did his lol.

I caught him twice snuggling with it. With that same "never speak of this" look! Lol. I've been meaning to cut the tags, just haven't gotten to it yet. Its usually the first thing I do.
Every pirate needs his bunny. Or, is that "bounty"

And Denver, I always thought a stuffed animal was just stupid for a reptile, and even after I caved and got one, he hated it. But then I saw him today cuddling with it, and I changed my tune:) I have it in his "unintentional" hide ans I think he usues it to sleep down there, upright to help with digestion.

Real beardie men snuggle bunny stuffies! I mean conquer and pillage... . I tried the whole stuffy thing, first and only time I've seen my girl full out black beard and bite anything :|

New stick. Not really keen on it. He doesn't do well with change. My fiancee held him today for the first time, and he wasn't happy with that at all. I was letting him hold him so I could measure him. And as soon as I got close with my hands, he crawled into mine. Changed his colors too. Lol. Hes 12" tip to tail nub. Im guessing he'd be about 14" with a full tail. To think, he's still a juvenile(I believe, 10-11mo)

Inspecting it

Hey all.
SP is doing well. Went a couple days without pooping which freaked me out. I ran out of horn worms, and had to go to my emergency back up of butter worms and small supers(no more than an inch long) and fire whatever reason he didn't poop the next day. I soaked him, but it didn't work, and the next day I soaked him again. Thinking it wouldn't work, I was holding him in his little tub with one hand(he hates water, will post a pic) and with the other hand I was getting ready to search the forums for ways to help him poo, and right as the page loaded, he crapped in my hand. I've never been so happy to be pood on!!! I have worms I order, should be here today.
He started really head bobbing the last week. Not sure why, the other beardie is below him so he can't see him. And he only does it when he goes from the bottom of the tank, up to the basking stick. He'll bob his head high and fast two or three times, then once or twice low and slow. Really am clueless as to why. He's not black bearded, puffed, or stress marked. He looks his "normal" happy self, just bobbing. I guess maybe he wants to be held. He's only done it randomly once, while looking at me, like "come hold me!"
I am going to make him a harness soon. I tested a pull string from a mesh bag, wrapped loosely while he was sitting on my lap to see how he'd react, and it didn't phase him. Yay.
Any how, I'll post some pics in a bit. Gotta go back to work.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
