They LOVE the pellets!

So..I got my girls a little jar of jevenile beardie pellets and oh my goodness they love them. I am only giving them the recomended 28 pellets per day, softened with a bit of water.

Vadar likes them so much that she gobbled them all down...(she's still eating 8-12 crickets a day) and her greens. Well she has been picking up her "little bowl" and shaking it..LOL..She wants MORE PELLETS...she'll have to wait until tomorrow!

Sooo...SHould I still be giving her everything else along with the pellets?? The side of the jar says to supplement with mealworms and crickets, along with fresh greens as desired.

I would still continue to offer live feeders and veggies/fruits.

Personally I would only offer the pellets as a treat. They are full of things that your beardies don't really need and can cause them to get fat. From what I understand being fat can lead to fatty liver disease in dragons. Don't we all love the things that aren't good for us?
