Thermastat is this correct

When the viv get to the correct temp the thermastat turns off the light??
So for about an hour or two she only has the UVB light she seems ok and looks right at the UVB tube so I think she's fine but would like to know what you guys think

I personally never use a retrostat with dragons, I prefer the heat light to be on all day. If the reto is set up proper then yes, it will shut the light down at a certain temp then click back on when the temp lowers some.
There is some concern that a dragon looking directly at a UVB can be bad for their eyes and having another bulb on will reduce the chance of damage. Is there any reason you are using a retostat instead of letting the bulb burn all day?

Because I can't get my temps right I have a 100W bulb now. I tryed 50 60 75 all no good now 100 is just over all the temps like basking was 115 etc etc and I can't higher the bulb and I have tryed opening the doors on my viv to get temps down abit but no good and can't really coz the ca. so I got this.
