I have been surfing the Beardie rescue part for a couple of days now and many of the beardies rescued are in such a horrible state because their last owner said they could not find the time to look after them. That is a real poor excuse i have 3 beardies two cockatiels two guinea pigs one tortoise and a dog and even though i still live with my parents i was the one who chose to keep these pets so i have to clean em feed em and give them the best care i can and i do (even trying to build an aviary for the birds) even spending my own money own their supplies. To just leave a life in such a state is appalling and even take much longer to give it away with months of suffering is just plain heartless. I have only rescued one animal and that was one of the cockatiels whos cage was in such a state he had a habit of eating his own poo which took a while to get him off that habit. I am only thankful to those who take their time and money to save these lizards from the horrible people who shouldn't be owning pets.
