So, I feel like i'm confident enough with DIO's care to retire my thread under health!
Many thanks to CooperDragon and AHBD for their help in that thread!

So here I will keep you updated on DIO's journey to becoming the future world monarch!

Think i'm joking?
Look at this:

Bah. DIO just made a six-foot dive out of my hand onto my bed. She seems a little alarmed, but otherwise alright. I'd be more worried if she landed on something else.

Why would you suggest such a thing?!

Lesson of day: Monitor my mother when she tries to feed DIO. Walked into my room to find about 20 crickets that I think were too large for her to have in mass. By the time I realized this, they were running from DIO as if it were a Korean horror film.

DIO feels like a pretty big fatty now.

She pooped this morning, so I think her tank was empty at least. I hope this goes better than the last time she was overfed. Looks like someone is getting more baths the next few days!

The picture dose not do DIO any justice, but she just finished shedding her head a couple days ago, and some of her features are really starting to show through!

Here is one of her when she still had some shed:

So a couple weeks ago we measured DIO and she was six and a half inches long. Just measured her and she's a full seven inches now!

I took DIO on her first roadtrip today! We were going out of town to get Crickets, since it's a short distance I grabbed her little critter carrier and took her with us! The shop people thought she was absolutely beautiful, but they didn't even see DIO's lit up colors!

She must have gotten scared since as far as i'm aware this was her first time exposed to the sun, whenever we hit bumps in the road she would start trying to burrow into me, so I spent a good chunk of time trying to sooth her, but she reacted well for a first experience!

Today was DIO's second roadtrip- she seemed to enjoy it more! Sadly the person at the petstore who sold us crickets didn't seem nearly as enthusiastic or as pleasant as the previous few clerks.

While shopping for new supplies for DIO, my mother was looking at the baby Beardies a Petsmart- one of them was at the front glasssurfing while the others remained in the back and she decided she had to have him/her- So spontaneity we bought the supplies to set up a small tank for this new baby-

I present: REO Speedwagon!

So I shall rebrand this thread:

The Thread of the Mighty DIO and the Spunky Speedwagon!

The poor baby had a traumatic first day yesterday-
My mother learned the hard way that little Beardie + Big Beardie = Bad idea

As you see in the pictures, DIO was glass surfing. She interpreted it as DIO wanting to be friends.

So she had them out together- I jumped into action quickly because DIO was going into the "Cobra Grapple" as I like to call it- DIO latched to Speedwagon's head, but I pulled her away quick enough Speedwagon is okay! She made a huge jump to safety, but we found her and she's perfectly fine!

Later that day we caught this:

The tank we bought was designed for Leopard Gecko, when I realized it didn't have a UVB I brought out DIO's old combo to use for now- I exchanged the basking light for the one that came for the tiny tank- the original basking light made the tank nearly 115 degrees so I didn't want to roast the little thing!

Could I suggest keeping the older one out of the younger ones view. I'd imagine it might be fairly stressful being able to see a dominant adult who has already attacked her, hence what I assume is a submissive arm wave from on top,of the highest point in the big.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
