The Terrible Trio - Herk-A-Birthday!!

Since I am finding it more and more difficult to keep updating 4-5 threads, I have decided to start a new one that captures the antics and pics of ALL of my dragons...Nero, Dude, Sweetie-Boo, Calliope and Hercules.

From now on I will be updating this thread... and every day is an adventure here in Beardie-Land :mrgreen:

I hope that everyone will continue to follow the lives of my babies.

I'm fairly unknown here but i have been reading through the last few pages. I'm blown away by what happened to Sweetie-Boo, What a horrible thing and scene to come home too. I don't even want to imagine what poor sweetie was imagining through that horrific ordeal. I'm sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you Tony and S-B.
I have nothing but respect for folks who rescue animals BD's especially. I'm sure some how some way Dude knows that you did your best in the time he was with you in aiding, caring and watching for him and that you did all you could to figure out what was happening with his leg situation. R.I.P. to that poor fellow!

I don't come on the forum a great deal but when i read your story i felt the need to comment. Just wanted to say how very sorry i am for your loss of Sweetie and Dude to lose one beardie is horrible but to lose two i just can't comprehend. My thoughts are with you and Tony, i've always found it hard to deal with losing pets but i believe death is not the end, but a beginning of a new life. r.i.p Sweetie and Dude x

Robin, I'm also one who reads a lot on these threads but I just don't post often. I wanted to send along my sincere condolences to you and Tony for the loss of both Sweetie Boo and Dude. I hope everyone's kind words will help ease that loss a little. Please know you're in my thoughts and prayers.

Gina - The picture you posted was absolutely wonderful. As always, you know the right thing to do, even though I know how much it pains you to do so.

I know that on the other side of that gate, my babies are whole and have total function of their limbs. And no longer in any pain.

I think I am ready to properly memorialize them, so in the next couple of days I plan on posting a pictoral of their wonderful lives. I hope everyone will share in the celebration of their lives with me.

BTW... before I forget, little miss Calliope will be a whole year old on Saturday I can't believe a year has gone by already.

Hi Robin, the memorial is a great idea. When Angel and Dino passed it did me good to pick out all the pics of each of them and say how we felt. I've felt them in my heart ever since, so I know they're at peace. I know Sweetie-Boo and Little Dude are at peace, too. I believe that they're all together, whole, happy and running around in the sunshine. My prayers are with you and Tony and Caliope, you're going to be 1 yrs old, CONGRTULATIONS, boy that sure went fast!
