The Stages Of Nike's Repti-Aid Rehabilitation (Pics)

Let me start off by telling you abit about Nike. About a week ago I went to pick up a very sick bearded dragon. Once I first saw her, I could tell she was severely malnourished. Her bones are sticking out and you can see them plainly, even the bone in her tail. Her nails were overgrown and under curling. I got her home and put her in a nice tank and she doesn't want to eat anything. No greens, crickets, nothing. I read on the forums about a product called Repti-Aid and decided to go to petsmart and pickup a box.

I've just fed her a dose of it for the day, I'll be posting a picture everyday to show progress, and see if repta-aid really works.

Day 1* (Severely Malnourished - April 23rd, 2009)

the repti-aid you might have heard about on this website is different from the one that you picked up in the store. give it a serach on the site and its posted by chamnw

I used this in December with a very very sick baby. I thought he died twice in my hands and was sure he would not make it through the night. I noticed a difference within half a day. I'm glad to say he's alive and doing very well and I'm sure it was because of this product.

The good thing is a little goes a long way and there's plenty left over should we need it again.

I would say neglect AND misinformation, the previous owner that I got it from didn't know it's name, I asked her it's name and she said "uh uh..........i think it was saber". She told me that her kids didn't care about it, and she didn't either. I know it didn't have the correct lighting, and i know she probably has MBD, she shakes and stuff.

Everyone is very helpful and will do all they can to help you get this little lady straitened out. you might wanna check out nutribac. its a probiotic specially designed for reptiles. it is to help restore gut flora and help an animal regain its appetite. i have never used it on one of my beardies. but i did give it to one of my buddies when i took care of him for a week for him. he was hardly eating, even for my buddy, so i mixed some up in some water and shot it down his throat with a baby feeding syringe. he was eating like a vulture the next day and gained a lot of weight in the 10 days he spent with me. he is only 7 inches at 4 months old when i first got him to take care of. now he is a lot better and growing. even though the kid wont listen to me and feed him more, i still go over to hang out and dump a lot of crix in for him. he loves em.

i have also saved one of my prized snakes with this product after 4 regurges which i was certain would be death to her. but shes finally eating well and i stand fully behind this product. just google its. its like 12 bucks for a normal size pill bottle full of powder. very easy to use.

The reptaid product that everyone is talking about around here is not that one like someone else mentioned. This is the reptaid product that I have used.

As for her not eating you probably want to make sure she is good and hydrated before trying to get her to eat any solid foods. An I would start off with slurries or babyfood at first as she does look very underweight.

Bless you both! I started using reptaid this week and have already noticed a difference. It's the same one listed above. The company is very
helpful and contacted me before I even rec'd the product. Our boy started showing improvement the next day!
