The Perfect Laying and Incubating Mix???

i really need some direction as too what i should use for my laying and incubating medium ive heard vermiculite or potting soil but no specifics as to which ones i should use im guessing fine vermiculite for the incubating medium and for the laying im not too sure some say sand some say soil some say a mix and is perlite bad??

Dont know about perlite, but i personally use vermiculite, and find it great... :mrgreen: but, its your choice on what to use!

Oh, and for the incubator, not the laying.

Yup use the vermiculite for hatching! Just make sure to add enough water to it so it holds its shape kinda like dough but not so it is dripping wet! For the laying you can use damp sand or top soil with sand! You need to add enough water to it just so it holds a hole open for your female to sit in! Good luck any more questions just ask!!
