Here's my bearded dragon enclosure, all ready for my new little baby when I get him!

Check it out!



My little sister and I colored the background on white paper as opposed to buying one. I think it looks great!! I'm still going to cover one or two of the sides with paper, but I haven't done that yet.


This is a little rock platform/cave that I glued together. The rocks were sterilized/cooked when we first got them, but they've been sitting in a fish tank for some time. I set them outside and they've been rained on and baked for a couple weeks. Here's what it looks like!





The cage is equipped with a 24" Reptisun 10.0 tube and a 100 watt Repti Basking Spot Bulb which gets the basking spot (top of the log) around 110°F. The coolest spot on the cool side is about 75°F, which is a little low but I can't do any better. I checked and the surface of the rocks only gets around the mid to upper 80s, even after the heat lamp has been on for over an hour.

Thanks, and I definitely will post more pictures!! Im going to make an unboxing video when I get him and take lots of pictures for this site, and of course take lots more videos and pictures as time goes by!

So I added the side panels and bought another timer for the UVB light, so the enclosure is now OFFICIALLY finished!






On top of that, it looks like I'll be buying my dragon today!!!!!!! :love5: :headbang: :-D :-D :-D :-D :headbang: :love5:

So I should have him tomorrow!!!!!!!! I'll be making a topic in Introductions with all the pictures, but I'll post here with the link to that topic. SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!
