The endearing things our beardies do...

You know... the little extra special behaviors, no matter how subtle that just makes your heart melt.

My adult Max very politely lets me know when he needs his bath (he won't poop in his viv) by placing both front feet on a little ledge next to the glass in front of his viv. He does this and gives me this cute little begging look until the slave tends to his needs. He looks so gosh darn cute!

My little Livia girl would ALWAYS rather be held than anything else. When I try to put her down, she clings and grabs whatever she can to get ahold of to stay on me. Most of the time, she needs to be near my face. If I place her in my lap, she climbs back up immediately. While holding her, if I place my finger close to her front foot, she'll reach out to grab my finger, just like a baby does.

My little man Sparticus acts so tough all of the time from his viv with his head bobbing and bearding whenever he sees any of my other beardies running around. But if you take him out and put him on the ground while holding another beardie, he completely freaks and darts under his stuffed animal pet, then gets into the pancake position. He's ALL show!

One thing Jasper always did that just melted my heart was that he would climb up onto my shoulder, then tilt his head up and rest his beard against my cheek. Sometimes he would put his hand up on my cheek too. He would stay like that for hours. That's one of my favourite memories of him.

Oh that is so cute! My Livia likes to sleep with her beard across my mouth and her nose touching my nose. She's definitely my most 'snuggly' beardie.

Stripes is a shoulder slut. I'll rest her on my lap to watch TV and she'll crawl up, ALWAYS to my left shoulder, and nestle her head against my neck. So cute to feel her trying to snuggle her spikes into my neck.

My little sweetie, Phoenix likes to sit in the middle of my chest, she won't hangout anywhere else. She especially loves when I zip her up in my hoodie. She snuggles in and falls asleep. It is sooo adorable. I love it when she wants to cuddle :love5: My little boy, Dragon is only okay with snuggles if it's after a bath. If he's wrapped up like a burrito all warm and toasty, then he'll snuggle. Otherwise he is too much of a big tough guy to be caught snuggling with mommy. Head bob, head bob :whip:

I love it when I pat Sunny and he closes his eyes. Usually when I rub his face right at his mouth. Or in the middle of his head between his eyes. He will close his eyes like he is just soaking up the love and attention....and he is saying "Thanks Mom!!" :lol:
