The dragon that licks EVERYTHING. plus growth update

I know its a common thing, but I love it so much. I take him out and he just wants to explore everything!

Danny is my first BD (Still too small to determine the sex) I got him three weeks ago and from his size, we're guessing he was two months at the time. He measured at 5 inches and is now reaching 8! He's growing so fast and its pretty incredible.

This is him right after we brought him home. Those crickets were gone in a matter of minutes.

Two days after we got him. He likes to crawl all over me (He also likes to move his bowels on my too)
He adjusted really nicely to his new home, it took like a day instead of weeks. He eats his vegetables (only if I give them too him by hand, hopefully he'll grow out of that) and he is also drinking from his water bowl. I was surprised to see him do that cause from what i've read, they don't like to do that.
I'll keep this updated as he grows

He's so pretty and has grown about an inch here

and here he is now. Measuring almost 8 inches and as happy as he can be.

you can tell the sex at that size, if he has femoral pores on his back legs then hes most likely a boy, males have enlarged femoral pores, Although IM NOT SURE but i think it works

We just checked and Danny is a male!

Danny is finally shedding! Its so weird, as a new owner, I've never seen anything like that! I'm glad its happening, means he's growing :3

His brother, is also doing well. He's eating well and his MBD is under control.

We renamed him Dave, another Imagine Dragons band member (Well former member)

Here's my boys. They're precious.
Danny is the lighter colored one and Dave is more red.

I am for now, they will get separate tanks in about two weeks. But they are getting fed separately, Dave is a pig and will eat everything before Danny even notices the food

I actually just got Dave two days ago. The pet store that we got Danny from had a few sickly looking beardies. My boyfriend, Cameron, said he would feel really guilty if he didn't rescue one of Danny's siblings so we did. We did bring it up to the store owner and they did change how the tanks were set. We went back yesterday for more crickets and boyfriend said they're looking much better.

Poor Danny, he's so uncomfortable. I'm glad he started shedding tho, his entire left hand finished! Then he ate the scales... Is that okay? >.>

Mushu does it when he sheds. It's never hurt him before. I wonder why they do that though?

Not sure if it's true, but I think I read that they eat their shed skin for calcium? They shouldn't eat all/a lot of it, but a little is fine? It seems weird to me though!
