Hello,
Sorry if this may be a little long. But I just wanted to say thanks.I have obtained very useful information. And a special thanks to all those who responded to my posts/questions. I am new to to owning a Beardie, and I had done my homework, prior to owning one. What I had done was to take all the information I gathered off this forum, and came to a conclusion on how to make Fang as happy as he can be.He is a baby. About 6" total length.Would post a pic but the img is just a thread.(can someone help here so I can post a or add a pic of him).anyway he seems very happy in his new home.Just have to get him to calm down when I go to pick him up.Do not want a Beardie that bites. His home is a 40 Breeder, with slate tile as a subtrate.(just did not want to take the chance of him getting sick and or dying becasue he ingested sand. and the tile looks great . He has a 10.0 UVB Repti Sun bulb.and a basking spot between 105-110,and a night bulb.I am giving him a mixture of boc choy and collard greens along with crickets (baby) sprinkled with calcium powder a few times a day. he is also getting a bath (soaking for 10-15 ) 2-3 x per week.Oh and the cool side is averiging between 80-85.Humidity is somewhere around 40-45% . I think thats about it.If anyone else has any usefull information or if if you think I need to do something different please advise.I just want Fang to live a happy Life.

Thanks Again :D

If you are using a gauge style hygrometer it can be giving you false reading with your humidity, recommended to use a digital hygrometer. 40-45% seems a bit high but, not in a "danger zone".

This link might help you in posting pictures.

I hope in some way/fashion I was able to help you.

Hi Weezer and thank you for making such a conscious effort to do all the right things for your baby. When you say "night bulb" what do you mean exactly? From what I've read, they sleep best in total darkness so if your bulb emits any light at all, red, blue, black or otherwise, it might not be the right choice. If additional warmth is required, you could consider a ceramic heat emitter and then only if you feel your night time temps will drop below 65 degrees. Good job on your set up!

Thanks for the info. Will get a digital hygrometer .As far as the night bulb ,it is a black night one 50 watt. But I will not use at night and monitor night temps, which I dod not believe will drop below 65 .

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
