Tetchy spyro

Hi there everyone. Happy new year, i haven't been posting as i've been ill so hope you all had a good one.
I have just had a spell in hospital and had to leave spyro in the care of my son and ex husband :roll: .I always knew it would be interesting. My daughter is scared of the bugs so no hope there. I checked with jake to see if he had been feeding her ok. YYeess he said slowly.. So im thinking whats happened. Well Having realised he should have fed her before, he thought he'd give her some locust. Much to his suprise for the first time she bearded up big time opened her mouth and charged at him! So he's ringing me paniking because now he's scared of her. So i said she's probably starving and annoyed you didn't feed her before so to try again camly. So he did, he through the whole tub of locust in the viv and shut the door asap. So she ate them all. in one go. :shock: So i say, im guessing you don't want to try and bath her then, NO! comes the reply. Credit to him though, he did try, on his own, as his dad's even more scared than him what is it with men?
So now i'm back, with a rather grouchy spyro. Yesterday i probably went to handle her a bit early in the day, she did a big beard a massive spiky pancake and slightly opened her mouth, i can take a hint but at least she's eating and being bathed regularly. OH i've treated her to a tree, i'm still not sure if its right for her yet, its a corkscrew hazel in a bucket of concerete, i'm going to give her a climbing base and see if she likes it. She certainly took to the xmas tree so i'll see how she goes.

I guess I'm lucky the men in my life are very willing to help - especially with sorting the crickets cause they give me the heebie jeebies when they jumping all over... shudders violently
As for the tree since I got one for Kaiba he hasn't left it!! Even sleeps in it :shock: so if that's anything to go by I'm sure she'll love it!
Good to hear you're out of hospital and here's to hoping she forgives you for leaving her with such incompetent slaves :wink:

so glad to hear that you are out of the hospital , hope that you are doing much , much better . i am sure that spyro is very glad to have her mommy back home and have her proper beardie slave back , i'm sure that she will be a happy beardie again in no time with mommy back .

Guess I'm lucky. Tiantha has my housemate wrapped around her tail and Rex is so funny he just laughs at him when he 'gets to do the feeding'. It was a do you want to hold her and a ummm no not right now to. I got Tiantha's lights and greens can you get the crickets to....I got her you get him to who can get to whom in the morning fastest.

I just have to remind him lights wake up warm up then feed and then feed mid day at hotest in the vivs...the attitude is great now.
