Terrified of crickets

My beardie is almost a year old now and is almost full grown.. She has always ate great! Greens and crickets however, lately when I put her crickets in her tank to eat she freaks out and glass dances and jumps around! She hasn't eaten crickets in a few days but still eats her greens.. I don't know what happened.. I always make sure to catch the extra crickets when she is done eating so that they don't bite her.. Any ideas?

Sometimes they loose interest in a certain insect. You may want to try other things like superworms, hornworms, Phoenix worms, Dubias, or silk worms just to add variety and see if one of these will appeal to her. For a dragon her age I would try out supers. She can handle them just fine and they are a very inexpensive treat that can be gutloaded. You can also allow her time to run around and play before offering insects. My female goes through energetic periods where all she wants to do is cage dance and play. It's like she can't focus long enough to eat. When this happens I just allow her to have extra play time to burn some energy off and once she's calmed down I try to offer food again.
