I have a female named Terra who just turned 10 months old. I have had her since she was about 6 weeks. My little sister has a female named Olive who is just over a year old. I basically care for both of them.
Olive poops every day, sometimes twice in a 24 hour period, and it always looks normal. Terra can go 3-4 days without pooping. When she finally relieves herself it is enormous, and her urates get really dense, but completely normal and healthy looking otherwise. She has done this her whole life. She only likes to go in the tub, and will hold it. She has never once pooped on anyone or any furniture since she has been alive.
She seems happy and healthy. She eats normal and is active for the most part. Lately there are some days where she will just want to sleep on the cool side all day and not move, then the next day she will be more active. Both of them have been doing this off and on since the weather started to get cooler. I'm guessing they're both having a light brumation or something. I am trying not to worry but I can't help it. Do I need to be worried about this or am I just really lucky to have a well-mannered 'lady' dragon who won't poop in public? I am going to post all the info I can think of that could be relevant below. I would appreciate anyone willing to take the time to read this.
Both of them had coccidia and pinworms about 3 months ago. They were both put on antiparasitics and received a clean bill of health afterward.
I have been giving both of them a special drink that I make about 2-3 times a week (right before bath time). I mix electrolyte powder and probiotic powder with a bit of liquid calcium and water. They both drink it willingly from a medicine dropper. I think of it as a more beneficial treat than just fruit, and I like to keep them hydrated. All ingredients are all-natural, no sugar, no preservatives, no junk. I'm really picky about what they eat.
I feed them dubia roaches, silkworms, greens (collard, mustard, and turnip), butternut squash, red bell peppers, papaya, wheat grass, and Olive will eat blackberries occasionally but Terra won't touch fruit for some reason.
I use Repashy's calcium with D3 powder and bee pollen to dust their bugs and salads.
They are housed in completely different areas of the house in their own 40g tanks. Temps are the same in both tanks. 105 basking (any higher and they won't bask), 82-88 ambient, 78-82 coolest spot.
