Temporary plastic bin enclosure?

Hi! :) I have a 7 month old beardie and I recently bought a substrate that makes a hard type clay dirt that they can dig in and I'm so excited for him to have it because he loves to chill out in little places. However, the clay has to dry overnight, so I need a temporary enclosure. I have a large plastic bin and thought about putting my screen on top and putting him in there until the clay dries, but I am afraid of the plastic melting or whatnot. My lamps wont be touching the plastic, but it will still be hot. Has anyone done this as a temporary thing before? I don't have an extra tank so I'm still trying to figure out how to get this clay in there! Thanks :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
