Ok, then 80 is good, even mid to low 70s is fine. Many of us don't give heat at night unless it's down lower than 65-70.
Petsmart employees aren't always so great, but... CHE are good but only at night, during the day you want a nice bright basking bulb. So maybe that's what she ment? CHE are good because light keeps dragons up at night, so that's probably why he is acting that way. Anyway, I'm not sure how they are sized (don't use them) but many folks use them and could give you suggestions.
