Temp and light help.

Hello,

My temps and lighting setup have been great, checking with an infrared thermometer. Have a juvenile dragon who’s basking temps have been low 100s and cool side in 80s. I have a CHE on at night. The fall just started, so my home temps dip to the 50s, so I added a second emitter for night time. But, this morning I have temps in the 90s on my Hot side. I changed out my 100watt basking bulb for another 100 watt bulb thinking maybe it just isn’t kicking out enough heat. I’m leaving the CHE’s on. I still have temps in the 90s on hot side.

Can I safely switch to a 150w basking bulb? Or what other options do I have.

I’m wondering if it’s that ambient temps are so much lower because of seasonal change.

You can switch to a 150 watt but make sure your getting a temp w/ a digital probe thermometer - IR guns can be thrown off by material or hammocks -
