Tell me I'm not the only one...

Lately it seems like I've been falling asleep on the couch with Franklin burrito'ed up in his blankey. All night long. He seems to crawl out if i start squishing him, and he sleeps with me like all night long until I go turn the lights on when I wake up.
He is seriously spoiled now lol...

Cute! I've haven't fallen asleep all night with my lizard but I've fallen asleep for a short time with him and he seems to just hang out till I woke up. Once I had my laptop on my lap and when I woke up he was on the keyboard. Probably warmer or something.

LOL noo you are definitely not the only one...except mine isn't an accident. Poncho sleeps burrito'd in a towel in the bed with me every night. He doesn't move a muscle but does insist that I be touching him before he will go to sleep then I can slide my hand out from under him.

No you are not the only one, every night Frank comes out of his cage just before lights out and snuggles in the big soft blankie on the couch. He stays there until we go to bed, which can be very late/early morning as we are night owls. We put him back in his cage when we go to bed so he can warm up when the lights come on, but he puts up a fight to stay out. He never moves once he's all snuggled in to the blanket, but I'm not ready for him to come in to our bed, I'm afraid to squish him, or have him decide to go explore and not be able to find him in the morning..

Lol Kaleen, you'd be suprised just how aware you are of them being in bed with you even when you are sound asleep. Poncho doesn't try to get up at all. (That I know of, he may be up having a party with all the friendly backyard lizards and just hurry back to bed before I wake up lol) but as long as I make sure he is sound asleep before I fall asleep he is good to go. I can sleep as long as I want and he will be right there. He woke up once when he pooped in his towel and that was to tell me to move the towel so he could go back to sleep. He won't sleep if I put him in his viv. Lol help me now, I've created a monster.

This 100%. At first I was like but then I was like o.o ! Mine seems to prefer cuddling up around on either side of my neck-hollow, or under one of my armpits where it's warm. You just sorta wake up in the morning and go "huh, i didn't even move at all! look at how cute he is just sleeping there! Anyway I have one more comment to make about sleeping with beardies!

Sometimes if I'm sitting up watching tv (a rare occurance) Poncho will curl up on my side under my arm and if I'm not putting enough pressure on him with my arm to keep him warm I get neck spiked in the side followed by a oops grin. This is not the most comfortable place for him to cuddle bc his spikeys jab my arm and side but he loves it so I go with it lol.

I have done this so many times too, Once I had to get up really early and was so tired the next day, but I always like to make sure Draco gets out of his tank at least a hour each day to get some time to run around, I feel asleep on the sofa, woke up and he was sitting on my head with a " What?" look on his face, he loves to cuddle in my hair.

Then another time I fell asleep on the sofa, I found him cuddled into my chin sound asleep, it was so cute :love5:

Poncho likes to sit on my head too lol I have a fear of him pooping on my head though lmao. I had a fauxhawk going on and right before I got in the shower at night id brush it out but all the gel and stuff made my hair feel very thick so that's when he wanted to burrow up in it. I came home tonight with a haircut (a much too short one, but hey it will grow back right?) Well Poncho got on my head and looked completely heartbroken that his hair hide had been chopped down to less than 1/2 inch lol

No, you are not the only one!!! My poor hubby gets up at 4:00 AM for work so sometimes I go cuddle next to him and watch TV in bed. Of course I have Pico sleeping on my chest with his little chin on my cheek. I have dozed off a time or two like this and he always stays right there but poor hubby is not wild about the idea of the lizard sleeping in the bed! He has woken up a couple times to be eye to eye with Pico and it does startle him LOL
I love that darling picture!!! Did you kiss him or did he get into something to get the red lips?
For Poncho, give him a warm bath and his business is done and you don't have to worry about lizard poo in the do!! Pico loves to get up into my hair too so I give him a bath every couple days so we don't have any accidents!!! I use a big Pyrex glass lasagna pan that I put those duck cut outs that you put in the bathtub so he doesn't slip and he has fun splashing and playing but the minute his biz is done, he is jumping out!!!! I rinse him off and wrap him in a towel and within 15 minutes he is climbing into my hair. They are just so much fun aren't they??? My poor dog has been miserable since I got the lizard....poor baby feels so neglected since he is no longer the only pet in the house!!

That is a picture of Franklin right after he eats his baby food. I get good organic stuff in nice easy pouches. That one is pear, apple, and purple carrots baby food. He noms and noms on it and ALWAYS gets a red nose!

With Fiz, I take him out at night and let him crawl around (usually on my couch or on my bed) and he will find a nice place to sleep (his favorite spots are folds in the blankets or stuffed behind a couch pillow). He will wriggle himself in there and then just pass out. I have sometimes sat there for hours just watching TV, occasionally forgetting I had a little buddy under the pillow. Last night he went behind me and squeezed between the couch and me. His belly side spikes weren't very comfortable, but Fiz was just so happy back there! I then transfer him to his bed that I made out of felt for him. He's only a baby (8 inches) so I'm worried that he'd get up in the middle of the night (he wakes up earlier than I do most of the time) and just get himself lost! When he's bigger and fatter and unable to fit in really tiny spaces, I will let him sleep with me for the whole night, but until then, Fizzy has to go back to the tank every night before I go to bed.

But no, you're not the only one who sleeps with their Beardie. There are many people here that sleep with their Beardies! (as you can tell from the many replies!) Franklin is adorable! I love his color, too! I really like the way he's basically all one color, but then his eyesockets are all yellow! It's super cute!

And here is baby Fiz. I pulled back his blanky and this is the little cute sleepy face I got!
