So I feed Rin his staple feeders of crickets-two nights of which he protested, BTW, because he was holding out for dubia... After the crickets he gets 2 big and juicy horn worms. I feed them to him on a glass plate (Yeah, I know.....I am a dragon slave for sure). He usually squeezes them with his teeth and a jelly like fluid squirt out of them. Up until recently, Rin just left it at that. Not now. Now, for the past three nights, he swallows the horn worms then looks down at the jelly liquid and licks it up like a dog licking up water. So GROSS! My husband fed him tonight and I warned him, but he didn't believe me. I soon heard him saying, "I am not touching your face after that!"

Jelly like fluids from a horn worm, on a Ritz anyone? mmmmm....good cracker!

I love the way he eyeballs the stuff...looks down by tilting his head...wait for it, wait for it...NOW! LICK LICK and it usually involves a scoop of the tongue in between. He's beginning to master the feasting of the hornworm jelly.
