I got my beardie bandit from a good breeder. He is very calm, but I feel like he is afraid of me. He kind of gets a look of fear sometimes if I walk into my room. He isn't aggressive, he doesn't hiss or gape, and he doesn't bite. I can handle him, but he sometimes tries to jump out of my hand. I think he doesn't trust me yet. What are some ways I can get him to enjoy and feel safe when I handle him. Thanks

Time will help. Over time he will get used to you handling him, especially if he isn't acting aggressive toward you. You can try handling him later in the evening when he is tired. He's likely to just fall asleep on you. The more he is around you and has nothing bad happen, the more comfortable he will become.
