What if you were to take it off before placing him back in the viv....or maybe a little snuggle time before putting him back and try taking off the harness while he's in snuggle mode?

Morgan you could also try letting him run around the house or room for a few before try to attempt taking it off...maybe a cool/calm down period would do him good.

Your welcome :) ....I find it comical that he doesn't like to take it off yet gives you no problems putting it on. Sounds like he's just not ready to give up the harness when you are ready.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
