Taking beardie out with you

I was just wondering how many beardie owners on here take their beardies places with them. I don't mean just out in the yard for some sun, but out and about on errands when it's warm enough outside.

I have taken Linus with me to fresh market, and to the garden store, and out on walks. He is always harnessed safely, and inside stores he has his blanket to cling to when he is in the cart. He seems to prefer my shoulder instead of the cart though, unless we are in the produce section of Fresh Market then he seems to want the cart so he can see the salad mixes. I guess he doesn't trust me to pick out his veggies without supervision.

I suppose my question is does anyone think that out and about time is to stressful for young beardies?

On his harness ours goes camping, to the park and playground, for a road trip, overnight in a hotel and in the yard.
