Hi,
I'm newer to owning Beardies and I've never seen one Brumate before. I'd like to know if these symptoms are those of brumation:
-Loss of Appetite(5-6 Worms|Barely any Greens)
-Staying out of direct heat(Temperatures are correct)
-Usually a little cold to the touch
-Droopy, not very active. (Stays in same spot entire day)
-Never basking
-Darker in color (He changes to white color when he's out of tank)
This started around 2-3 months ago right around winter time. I also upgraded him to a 50 gallon tank, with all new "furniture" in the tank, including a larger tree like structure where there are synthetic leaves covering the top creating somewhat of a canvas (He loved a smaller version of this as a baby), and a basking rock which has a cave with two exits (big enough for him to enter/turn around/exit and is also short enough for him to climb and sit on top of to bask.
I re-modeled my room so I was forced to move his tank to the opposite side of the room, with windows on each side of the tank and a tad bit higher than before. There are synthetic plants in the corners to provide some sort of cover so he doesn't feel so open.
Any idea what's going on? Is he brumating?
