Tail still grey after shed?

Hiya!
So my beardie started pre-shed about a week and a half ago. His tail finally shed about two days ago. Although....the top of his tail is colorful and then towards half way it turns a plain grey...like his pre-shed. Is this normal? Could his tail just be grey? Any ideas?

You'd have to post a picture for a definite answer, but sometimes when they're young they start shedding a second time before they'r even done the first time, so it could be that.

like I said he just shed his tail a couple days ago...
I give him baths everyday and lightly scrub him with a baby toothbrush

Often the tail will be lighter or even darker then the rest of the body. You guys tail looks perfectly normal.

His tail has never looked this way before. His tail is usually fully vibrant. So this is not normal for him. :study:
