Tail Rot?

Hi, so today my wife and I rescued our new beardie from someone in my city.
The person we adopted him from was fostering him for another lady who couldn't keep him because she was housing him and another male in the same tank. Because of the shared space, it seems that his tank buddy took a bite into the middle part of his tail.
He is currently shedding so there is that to take into account.
I do not know any information besides sharing a tank with another male.
I do not know how long ago the bite was either.

The bite looks like it had happen long ago enough that it has already healed, but the dark half of his tail has us concerned. Thoughts?

Hi there, most beardies shed in stages and can have half their tail shed while the other half has not. It can cause the tail to look two-toned. Your pics are pretty dark though, so post a couple more with better light to show the bitten area again, from this pic it seems fine but it is too dark for me to see it well enough.

Since I have no medical history or any real background of this dragon we decided it would be in his best interest to have him seen by a vet for a wellness checkup and to see the tail.
I am at the office now waiting to be seen.

Yea I took the pictures last night so it was pretty dark in my home. I can take more pictures when I get home. A second opinion. Is always nice
