TAIL ROT???

Hello,

I have a 6 month beardie that I got about 1 month ago. When I got him his tail had a black tip, I've noticed that it seems to be higher on his tail now and am concerned that it is tail rot. I am new to the reptile world and didn't really know what this is and how I can identify and help??

I can't tell if he's about to shed or if it's a more serious health concern

Please help if you know what this is?!?!

Just looks like a very dark tail, may be heading in to a shed.

I agree. I don't see any damaged or shriveled areas. The dark color on it's own isn't anything to be concerned with.
