tail rot vet?

My beardie shed his tail about 1-2 weeks ago, but only half of it shed, the tip of his tail has always been dark so while I'm not immediately concerned about tail rot recently he started jumping and twitching if i touch the place where the shed ended. I will be scheduling a vet appointment asap tomorrow when they open, i was wondering if anyone knew what kind of costs i will be up against, and which vets in Winnipeg look after bearded dragons, thanks!
