Tail rot? Or just a 'kink'?

I recently got a new beardie, (July 16th) and I've been noticing that he had some black on his tail and it was kind of 'kinked' At first I thought the tail might of got bent on something when he was at petsmart, but now I'm starting to fear tail rot.
I've been keeping an eye on it and it doesn't appear to 'spread' as I've read in other places. I'd rather be safe then sorry, and that's why I'm posting this.

Here's a picture of his tail:

As you see it's lighter then darker. ^ then it's bent. I know I read somewhere on this forum that their tails do get darker near the end... But I'm not sure if this is the case. I haven't really seen tail rot before in detail, I just assumed it would be a darker end. It looks a bit more bent in real life, but not like super bad. I can try to get another picture if needed.

Could it maybe be retained shed?

Hope it's normal.
Thanks in advance.

That's probably just a kink. When my beardie Tiger was little, he had a small kink in his tail as well. It has gone away as he as aged. :)

Ok thanks for the help guys. :) I recently got him so thats why I was REALLY worried.

Sorry for bumping... But I think I might be worried about my other dragon aswell, Fredericka... She has a darkened tail, but it's more darker that Oliver's and it goes on for longer... Ugh, sorry for all my worriness but here's a couple pics:

^ As you see she is a tan color at the base of her tail, then it darkens to a dark gray... It's bad quality but I did the best I could do with a cell phone(I don't have a camera, and my iPad (the one I usually take pics with) is dead.

^ This one isn't very good... It was the first pic of the tail I took, but I decided that I would take another because this one is pretty bad. It also looks like there's a light gray on the tail, but it was because of a smudge on the glass I didn't realize before.

I agree that tail # 1 is going to be fine, and tail # 2 has no problem whatsoever. :) Some times the tail is darker whether it's going to shed or not, but especially if it's nearing a shed.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
