ok this is gonna seem a bit random until i explain but my question is.... if a beardie has all of his tail is it generally the case that it's length will be just over half the total length of the beardie?
my adult beardie corinthian is 18 inches long and has all of his tail, his body is 8" and his tail 10", give or take a few mm either way.. i have a baby, widget, who was a rescue i rehomed from an animal charity and he's had most of his tail removed.. he's about 5-6 months old and currently about 5.5", about maybe half an inch is left-over tail.. could i assume that if he still had his tail he'd be about 12"? or are babies tails longer (i've seen some pics of babies where the tails seems huge compared to their bodies) or does it just differ from beardie to beardie? i can't even compare to corinthian at that age as we adopted him as an adult..
his lack of tail doesn't bother me in the slightest, in fact if he had a tail we probably wouldn't have him.. i saw his pic on the charity's website and he looked so cute with his lil stump, i felt so sorry for him and that was it, he was mine before i even saw him in the flesh! i was trying to imagine what he'd look like with a tail and couldn't picture it in my head, i guess thats why i'm asking- it's made me curious about it! :?
