Tail injury

When I got Calcifer he had a little crook at the end of his tail. We guessed it was from being nipped when he was at the pet store. Now it appears that during the night the tip of his tail has broken off or something. We are not sure as it happened while we were asleep. It's the VERY tip. But it does have a drop of blood occasionally. What should I do? Do I need to do anything? It does not seem to bleed alot, but of course I am worried.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Soak it twice a day In a Betadine/water solution diluted to the appearance of weak tea. Put some Neosporin
(not with the pain relief) on it. He should be fine in no time.
