Tail help

Hi all

I'm new to this forum. My son got a six month old beardie a couple of weeks ago and I'm a little concerned about its tail. It's darker in colour at the end but bends and doesn't seem to bother him/her. Started to shed two days ago, but not affected her appetite or temperament.

Does this look normal - I'm a paranoid new mum! If not will get her to vets tomorrow.

Hi there, yes it's normal....lots of beardies have a darker tail. Sometimes i's due to a shed coming on [ and they shed in uneven patches so be ready for that ] and sometimes it's just natural color .

Looks like a shed coming on as well. Its lighter colored just at the vent area to the tip.
It is perfectly normal for the tail to be darker towards he end.
