Tail fell off & maybe infected help!!!!

Hey!
About a month ago my 1year old female beardy started shedding. & she had problems while shedding & looked like it was bothering her. So I gave her a few baths gently petting the shedding area to help it come off. It came off but it was like it all came off right down to her bone almost like it was EXTREMELY skinny right at the end of her tail like a rotten tail. & then below that for about and inch looked like it turned to yellow almost like and infection. But I didnt & dont have any $$ to bring her to the Vet :"(... So I asked around & went to stores asking what could I do for her, they told me to rub lotions on it that we would rub on ourselves when we have and and affection like BACITRAYCIN. So I tried that. But Im afraid it was to late I new it wasnt going to help were the tail has rotten. But I wanted to try to help the infection or what I think is and infection. Well I was just laying down to nap & I go to look at her and the part of the tail thats like rotten, is hanging by a thread. She must of moved the wrong way and it snapped. It was very thin, you would beable to snap it off just like a tiny twig. So I grabbed her and in the process of taking her out it fell off :"(.
So I have a few very important questions & please answer each of them to your best of your knowledge. I know I need to get her to a vet. & if I had to $$$ trust me I would of brought her by now. So as much as everyone is going to want to say bring her, please dont, because I know I need to & Im trying to save the $$ but its going to take me awhile to...
Question 1- After a part of a dragons tail falls off, are they okay & will it just heal by itself?
Question 2- Is it okay to give her baths to keep her clean & hopefully keep the tail clean?
Question 3- On the tail were it looked like it was infected. Its like now shedding which it wasnt before. Looks like almost clear lotion peeling off very easily, not like a regular shed & a tiny piece came off and when I touch that spot she jumps so I think shes hurting there, what can I do for that?
She doesnt seem to be in pain unless I touch that tiny spot. Shes active & eats, sleeps, does everything she always does. Her poop is normal.
I feel sooo bad. My animals are my LIFE! But giving the luck I had lately with work. I been behind on bills very bad to point I cant buy all of my medications I need every month (Diabetic). So please dont think Im a terrible owner, I can promise you I have ALWAYS taken the best care of them & I love them soo much. Please help her & myself..

I am going to try and answer your questions. First don't be so hard on yourself, things happen in our lives we cannot control. What you need to do is calm down, then go get some betadine if you have none. You can get it at any drugstore or market in the first aid section cheaply. Make a weak tea like solution of the betadine and water and soak her tail for 15-20 mins in it several times a day. I would then apply a triple antibiotic such as polysporin or Neosporin to the tail tip where it fell off. Make sure the antibiotic cream does not have a pain reliever in it. Do this till the tail is healed over. Dragons usually do well with a damaged tail tip. Don't mess with it except to apply the antibiotic cream. I soaked my beardies tails in paper cups while holding them, had them on my chest, held the cup in my left hand and dipped their tail into the cup till I was done soaking it, this left my right hand free to cup over my dragons back. Now you do need to watch the tail tip and if it starts turning an unusual dark color and it creeps up the tail, she will need a vet as this is infection and you can lose her to it without a vets care. If you feel she needs a vet you can apply online for care credit which is a credit most vets will take in case of emergency, this way you can make payments in case you have to take her in. A picture of her tail would be really helpful in seeing what is going on with her. You can get a free account at photobucket and upload a picture of her tail there. When the picture is uploaded then fully open up the picture and copy the IMG url and paste it here. Make sure its the IMG url on the right beside your picture or just below it on the right. Exactly what you just said is what I just wrote down to do for when I go to the store in a few mins. Someone else said that on a different post on here & the dragon did great afterwards. So Im gonna prey this does work. Idk if it was shed that was stuck or necrotsis. But Im gonna do my best to save up money. I just sold my Dubia Colony so once the $$ goes through Ill have $$. But I was hoping to save that money & use it on bills. But I rather have my credit get destroyed then lose & animal. Yea Im gonna do it just as you told me. Im gonna do a good cleaning in her tank for there no dirt for nothing can get inside it. Ill attempt to upload some pics once I get back home.

Also if you have a bark basking log in her tank, I would cover it with a soft old washcloth or face towel so she doesn't snag her tail on it. Glad I could help some. Just keep an eye on it closely so if it starts creeping up the tail you can get it taken care of.
