T8 Light Fixtures?

Ordered a ReptiSun 10 T8 Bulb, the 24" (Tank is a 55 gallon). I can't seem to find a 2' (24"), single bulb, T8 fixture anywhere. I can find 4' fixtures, but no 2' fixtures anywhere. Tried Walmart, Lowes, & Home Depot, but they all carry 4' fixtures.

Any suggestions?

Try petmountain.com. i bought my 36in fixture from there and i know they have 24in ones. Its made by zoo med and is made for the reptisun bulb. Its around $50 maybe less which is fairly expensive but worth it.

Turns out PetMountain got my order wrong - they are shipping an 18" bulb instead of the 24" bulb that I ordered. This might be a good thing because it seems like I've seen some 18" under-counter T8 fixtures at the local places.

Question- the bulb I've ordered is 15Watts. Do I need a fixture with this wattage, or are these T8 fixtures work like other standard fixtures (whereas the wattage used is solely dependant on the bulb, not the fixture)?

Im pretty sure that any of the fixtures you can get for a t8 bulb can withstand 15 watts. You should be ok. Also if you order anything on petmountain enter the coupon code ten and you get a 10% discount if you didnt know that already.
