T5 Fixtures, which one of the two

So I currently use this style fixture and it’s positioned towards the back of the enclosure (as you can see from the photo). I am looking at potentially getting this style fixture and mounting in more towards the center of the habitat screen (see yellow rectangle on photo).

My question is what is the cons to using the new fixture over the Zoo Med? I’m sure there are some based on the size of the Zoo Med fixture.

Reason I am considering the switch is the smaller profile fixture will allow me additional placement options, while also keeping the UVB reading close to the same over the basking spot, while also raising the UVB reading near the front of the habitat.

As long as that dome can handle the wattage your going down to - the UVB can sit on top of your screen its a wide hole type and it should be 8-10 inches directly above the basking decor if I understood you correctly about the dome size

Not worried about the wattage. It will also still be mounted inside as I use a solar meter for readings.

There is obviously a difference between the Zoo Med and the slim profile one because the Zoo Med is 2X+ the width. My question is what does the Zoo Med offer that the other option lacks.

Ok your talking about the uvb sorry I thought you meant dome- I don't know if there is a difference other than the fact the zoo med would be easier to place on top of the screen since it's flat and the other one probably has the holes for hanging it

The basking side of my tank isn't getting up to the suggested 100degrees. Does that mean I need to get a new basking light?
In your perspective does my baby bearded dragon look healthy or unhealthy? Does she look bloated? she is active and eats very well also she is in her basking spot all day
