t5 and t8 Reptisun

I know this question has been asked before, so I'm sorry for that but there hasn't really been an answer.

I currently have a 36" reptisun 10.0 t8 bulb but I need another one, the store I buy this bulb from (also the only store where i live that sells em) is currently sold out of the t8 36". They've been sold out for quite a while and there not sure when they'll have more. Soooo would it be ok to get the 36" reptisun 10.0 t5 bulb? Anybody know if they have been tested yet? I don't wanna risk it if its unsafe.

If not then i can put my beardie out in the sun everyday for a few hours (as its been real hot here lately) till they get the t8 reptisun or even the Arcadia back in stock! Thanks

yea the t5 is fine. but you most likley will need a new fixture. t5 and t8 measures the size of the bulb.

Go to petmountain.com they have the cheapest reptisun 10.0 bulbs that i have been able to find.
