Swollen vent?

Today I noticed my bearded dragon wiggling her butt on the carpet and sitting weirdly. She tended to drag her butt when she walked around so I looked and there's an odd lump right behind her vent that wasn't there yesterday. I've prodded at it and it's not firm and doesn't seem to bother her. She gets pretty ornery around February so I'm curious if it's a sign of her being in...lizard heat? Or is this something else that I should be concerned about? She had a healthy bowel movement with no problems earlier today.

How long has the area appeared more swollen?
I don't think I would worry about that unless she was having trouble going to the bathroom, obviously, if impacted, etc.
How old is she & has she ever laid any infertile eggs?

She's turning 5 in March. Never laid any eggs. She was wiggling around on the carpet all day yesterday but today she's being pretty normal. Vent is still a little swollen though...She's been really submissive towards my other female bearded dragon who's half her size so I'm guessing she's just frustrated. Must be that time of the year. :roll:

Well, that is highly possible! As long as she is going to the bathroom normally & not impacted then it shouldn't be a physical issue.
Hormones can do some funny things sometimes. Let us know how she is doing.
